The Friends of Quivira Anunal Meeting will be anounced here in January 2019. 

This popular event has been revamped which now includes a casting station, fishing-related contests, fishing, photographs with your catch, a hot dog lunch and plenty of fun!  Pre-registration is encouraged.  Call 620-410-4011 between 7:30AM to 4:00PM

A celebration of cranes and the National Wildlife Refuge System, this year's event will kick off at the Great Plains Nature Center on Friday evening with a presentation on cranes.  Saturday will include a birding tour of Quivira NWR, along with other activities.  This even varies from year-to-year.  Contact Quivira at 620-410-4011 call between 8:00-4:00 for more information.
