VOLUNTEER Opportunity

FRIENDS VOLUNTEERS ASSIST with all of the events, teaching fishing and boating safety, helping weigh in fish or take a hook out of a fish, help a child with a craft, cook a campfire supper and lead a tour. The opportunities are endless. To volunteer contact the Friends by email to:

Just a few of the volunteer opportunities to choose from, volunteer today and start making a difference:

• Events-- Arts and crafts, meal preparations and serving, educational presentations, relief worker, donations of cookies and/or desserts

• Visitor services-- providing tours, helping keep the Visitor Center open, biological bird and wildlife surveys

• Administrative serve as a board member, grant writing and data research, mass mailings, newsletter articles, membership drive assistance

• Outreach and publicity--Working information booths or getting brochures and informational materials ready for distribution

• And Special projects as they are determined
